About Us

The new iMaGes is not only drawing out of town guests to the Pittsburgh club scene, but reintroducing native Pittsburghers to a more exciting nightlife.

We credit the success of the new iMaGes to responding to the needs of a discriminating clientele. The latest music, live entertainment, whether dancers or live vocalists, and quality drinks raise the bar to a new level. Our iMaGe is more than a bar -from our pool table, digital jukebox, dartboard, trendy décor, and most importantly, a friendly and dedicated staff, we are a true nightclub where you are sure to have a great time. Our iMaGe is reflected in the smiling, diverse faces of our guests. Come visit us tonight.

In 2006, iMaGes was completed renovated. The club now boasts a classic bar, bottled beers on ice, plasma televisions, funky furniture, classy restrooms and a sophisticated ambiance.

iMaGes has been a downtown Pittsburgh landmark since 1994. Since its opening, the club has been renowned for its accepting and welcoming atmosphere.

From 1988 to 1994, Auntie Mame’s served homemade food that some still talk about today.

From 1984 to 1988, an Italian restaurant, San Marco’s replaced pasties with pasta.

From 1982 to 1984, Purgatory, featuring scantily clad, pole dancing women occupied our building.

In 1980, the first ill-reputed business, The Keg and Quarter, moved into 965 Liberty Avenue.

Before that is ancient history.
